        Tour in St.Petersburg, Russia (September 2, 2000)
 On September 
        2, 2000 a skate tour in St.Petersburg, Russia was held. Russian skaters 
        (from St.Petersburg and Moscow) run via "rivers and channels" (by embankments), 
        visited St.Peter and Paul Fortresse, and skated through Petrogradsky District 
        and Vasilievsky Island. The total distance was more than 50 km.

              Guarden. Unfortunately, there is no asphalt in this beautiful park.

                of famous Gorky (now, Tovstonogov) Drama Theater. A stop during 
                a long trip near Fontanka River.  |  |

            to Mr. Michael Glinka (famous Russian composer). Nearby, there are 
            the Conservatory and Kirov Ballet! |  |

              the Potchtamtsky (Post-Office) Bridge.  |

            Square. Behind skaters there are St.Isaac Caphedral and the monument 
            to Alexander I (one of Russian Tsars). |  |

            and Paul Fortresse. Around the monument to Peter the Great (one of 
            Russian Tsars) and old Russian soldier (from wax). |  |

            famous Aurora Cruiser. In 1917, from here the Great October Revolution
