Tour in St.Petersburg, Russia
(September 2, 2000)
On September
2, 2000 a skate tour in St.Petersburg, Russia was held. Russian skaters
(from St.Petersburg and Moscow) run via "rivers and channels" (by embankments),
visited St.Peter and Paul Fortresse, and skated through Petrogradsky District
and Vasilievsky Island. The total distance was more than 50 km.
Initial
point at the Palace Square. Skaters are ready to start. This will
be the 1st part of our inline tour in St-Petersburg: via "rivers
and channels" (by embankments).

Summer
Guarden. Unfortunately, there is no asphalt in this beautiful park.

of famous Gorky (now, Tovstonogov) Drama Theater. A stop during
a long trip near Fontanka River.

to Mr. Michael Glinka (famous Russian composer). Nearby, there are
the Conservatory and Kirov Ballet! |

to Alexander I (one of Russian Tsars). |

This is our
famous Aurora Cruiser. In 1917, from here the Great October Revolution
was initiated. Today here is a museum. |
