Skaters from St.Petersburg to skate in Moscow
(August 2003)

A group of 30 skaters from St.Petersburg finally visited Moscow to skate there together with the locals.

In fact, until this August 2003 the skaters from St.Petersburg never visited Moscow as a large group. In the meantime, skaters from Moscow regularly go to St.Petersburg for skating. And finally, we decided to change such 'traffic'.

This time, our group was of 30 skaters. We went to/from Moscow by overnight train.

Day 1 (August 16)

Moscow skaters invited us to skate together in Moscow.

We arrived to Moscow (Leningradskii Central Station). Some of Moscow skaters met us that morning just after a regular Friday Night Skate - early in the morning!

A forced stop. After starting our skate in Moscow, a heavy shower occurred. So, we tried to find an appropriate safe place. It was a trolleybus stop

Day 2 (August 17)

Every Sunday, there is a regular group skate in Moscow. We decided to take part as well.

Starting point of Moscow Sunday Skates, which is called 'under airplane'. This airplane is located in Moscow Exhibition Center (VVZ, former VDNH). This time there was totally about 90 skaters.

It was excellent to skate in Moscow! Beautiful scenery, perfect sidewalks and streets! And very friendly Moscow skaters as well!
