Karnival in Pushkin, 2003
Once again, we (local skaters and cyclists from St.Petersburg)
visited the annual Karnival in Pushkin.
With great pleasure, we visit this event every year. This
time our group (local skaters and cyclists from St.Petersburg) decided
to have fun and skate/cycle there. The weather was perfect.
Skating uphill a street. To the Lyceum! Pushkin is a small satellite
city located at a hill. So, we skate both up- and downhill. |

A very special car which looks like a bee. Bee Line company (mobile
provider from Moscow) decided also to take part in the Karnival. |
This day, we met many participants of a masquerade. |
|
Together with local artists.

|
Nice girls (with no skates). Among contests, every year there is
a separate competition: Queen of Karnival. |
... is also in a good mood! |
|
|
Our usual stop near the Egypt Gates. |
Trying to slalom cones... |
|
|
This policeman is not an artist… He really represents a Local Police,
friendly to skaters and cyclists. |
Stop near Chinese Gates. |
|
|
Excellent gates of Ekatherina Palace. Pay attention to this Red
asphalt |
Street downhill. |
|
|
A former USSR flag (in a small museum devoted to II World War, which
is located in a bistro where we had our lunch). |
Join us next year!
